All evening CrossFit classes are as regularly scheduled at 5,6,7 and 8 pm.

Christmas Week Schedule

Monday December 21- Wednesday December 23 all classes scheduled as normal

Christmas Eve December 24th: 6,7 am and Noon class only. The gym will close at 1 pm. There will be No evening classes.

The gym will be closed Christmas Day, Friday December 25th-Monday December 28th.  It will re-open on Tuesday December 29th with the normal schedule at 6 am.

Friday Dec. 25 – closed
Saturday Dec. 26-  closed
Sunday Dec. 27 – closed
Monday Dec. 28 – Abbreviated schedule: 7 am, Noon, 6, 7 pm.

Thanksgiving Week Schedule

Monday and Tuesday: No Changes
Wednesday: 6,7 am, Noon, 4 pm Open Floor, 5 &6 pm.  NO 7 or 8 pm classes.
Thursday: CLOSED for Thanksgiving.
Friday: 10,11 and Noon, 4 pm Open floor, 5 & 6 pm.  NO 7 pm class.
Saturday : 9,10 and 11 am.
Sunday: 10 am Yoga, 11am Open Floor.

 

Sunday Yoga Included with all memberships

The November Yoga Schedule is as follows: 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/29

Yoga on Sunday Mornings will now be a part of all memberships. If you have a class based membership (with the exception of a class card) Yoga will not count against your monthly total visits.  We would like everyone to experience the benefits of slowing down and adding some mobility as recovery to their routine.

Maggie has been a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist since 2006 and has been doing yoga since 2008. Yoga has been a helpful tool for her to counter her physically active work and social life. She began doing crossfit in July of 2013 and was quickly inspired to become a yoga teacher in order to bring yoga to this population of individuals as well as others who often don’t realize how much stretching and slowing down can enhance their athletic performance. She received her 200-hour Yoga Instructor certification in December 2014 and is eager to bring yoga to beginner yogis

Maggie teaches an alignment based yoga practice in which poses are often held for an extended length of time. This allows the time for practitioners to get into the fullest expression of the posture and to effect the maximum amount of change on the tissues. She will be teaching yoga on selective Sundays at 10am and looks forward to seeing you there.

Crossfit Gantry Spooky Halloween Workout Fest Saturday Oct. 31st.

9- 5 pm.

Men’s and women’s RX individual competition – entry fee $50

3 announced events, plus a surprise final event for the top 5 athletes

Cash prizes for top 3 individuals

Individual athletes should have HSPU, muscle-ups, and be able to snatch 135/95lbs

Coed team competition:
Teams of 3, any combination of male/females – entry fee $75

2 events for everyone, then final event for top 5 teams

Scaling is acceptable, but any teams with athletes who scale the workout will not be eligible for prizes

Prizes for top 3 teams

Athletes competing on the teams should have pull-ups, toes-to-bar, and double unders

Costumes are encouraged but not mandatory

Friends and family are welcome to come cheer you on. Food and drinks (adult and non-adult) will be available during the event.

New Evening Class Schedule beginning 10.05.2015

Beginning Monday October 5th our evening class schedule will change to classes beginning on the hour and we will be adding an extra class.  Evening classes will be 5, 6, 7 and 8 pm.
All other class times during the day will remain the same.

Labor Day Weekend Schedule

We will be closed for the Labor Day Weekend Holiday.
We will close early on Friday September 4th through Labor Day, Monday September 7th.
Classes will resume as normal on Tuesday, September 8th.

Friday: 7 am, Noon, 4 pm Open floor, 5 pm Class. Lifting from 4-6.
Saturday: Closed
Sunday : Closed
Monday: Closed

Labor-Day

Sundays in August

The gym will be closed on Sundays for the remainder of August.  There will be NO Yoga class and NO open floor session.  We will be participating in the Subway Series for the rest of the Sundays in August.  Anyone competing can meet at the gym at 11 am to warm up and we will leave for the weekly venue around 11:30.  Please plan accordingly and sorry for any inconvenience.

Whitewater Rafting Trip August 8th.

The white water rafting trip is all set up for August 8th. We have to be there by noon, so we are leaving Gantry at 9am. The cost is $69.95 per person. Each raft holds 4-6 people. To sign-up, please call 1-800-944-8392. Tell them you are with the Crossfit Gantry group or use the reservation number below. You must sign up by the end of July to guarantee you spot with our group. Friends and family are welcome. We will arrange for carpooling once we have final numbers. Can’t wait!!!
