The November Yoga Schedule is as follows: 11/1, 11/8, 11/15, 11/29
Yoga on Sunday Mornings will now be a part of all memberships. If you have a class based membership (with the exception of a class card) Yoga will not count against your monthly total visits. We would like everyone to experience the benefits of slowing down and adding some mobility as recovery to their routine.
Maggie has been a New York State Licensed Massage Therapist since 2006 and has been doing yoga since 2008. Yoga has been a helpful tool for her to counter her physically active work and social life. She began doing crossfit in July of 2013 and was quickly inspired to become a yoga teacher in order to bring yoga to this population of individuals as well as others who often don’t realize how much stretching and slowing down can enhance their athletic performance. She received her 200-hour Yoga Instructor certification in December 2014 and is eager to bring yoga to beginner yogis
Maggie teaches an alignment based yoga practice in which poses are often held for an extended length of time. This allows the time for practitioners to get into the fullest expression of the posture and to effect the maximum amount of change on the tissues. She will be teaching yoga on selective Sundays at 10am and looks forward to seeing you there.
