April Updates:

We have some exciting things happening in the month of April and  some important dates and schedule changes.

Beginning April 1st, all 2x week and 3x week memberships will now become 8 x month and 12 x month.  We understand schedules get hectic with work, people get sick and you get lazy ( we do not condone laziness).  You will now not have to worry about losing a session if one of those life events comes up.  There will be no more one week holds for a hangnail or hangover. You have the rest of the month to use the class.  That being said, you will only see results if you are consistent.  You are in control of your fitness.
Saturday April 5th, 1 pm: Paleo/Zone Nutrition Presentation with Bryan and Devin.  We will follow up the Nutrition talk with a One month Nutrition Challenge.  Details to follow.
Monday April 7th: Beginning  of the new schedule with evening classes  shifting times to the half hour. Classes will move to  5:30, 6:30 and 7:30 pm Monday – Thursday,  and  5:30, 6:30 on Fridays.  We will also have 8:30 pm class on Tuesdays and Thursdays.  Keep an eye on the calendar for the class updates.
Beginning April 7th with the Class schedule change we will also require everyone to sign up for class online or through the mobile app prior to class times.  Classes will be limited to 15 people for now.
Tuesday April 8th, 7pm: Gantry Endurance Running Class is back.  Every Tuesday night at 7 pm. The weather is finally taking a turn for the better and it is time to get out and run.  Coach Joey will be back coaching the Gantry Endurance Class. Also keep any eye out for a weekend running workshop in the near future.
Wednesday April 9th: Wednesday nights  7:30 pm is Ladies Night.  Ladies only coached by Christina.
Saturday April 12th: Kids Night Out.  For those of you with children, Our CrossFit Kids Coach Michele hosts a night of CrossFit, games and pizza.
Saturday and Sunday April 19 and 20: Strength Seminar with Dana and Justin. Saturday 1-5 pm and Sunday 10-2 pm.  If you are not heading out of town for Easter and you have nothing to do, sign up and get your lift on.
Saturday May 17th: One year Anniversary Party.

Saturday Update: CrossFit Open Workout 14.5

CrossFit Open workout 14.5 on Saturday morning at CrossFit Gantry: Heats will go off approximately every 20-25 minutes. We will have 8-9 people per heat. Because this workout is NOT an AMRAP and has NO time cap, I will be assigning heats. Those who will most likely be taking a longer time for the workout will go in an earlier heat. Please post in the Facebook group  if you are planning on coming to do the workout, scaled or unscaled (the only scaling is load). I will post a tentative heat list in the Facebook Group when I have all those who are coming. Again, if you know you will be taking longer for the workout, plan on going in one of the earlier heats beginning shortly after 10 am.

 

 

 

Presidents Day Schedule

There will be no 6 am class on Presidents Day 2/17.  All other classes ail proceed as regularly scheduled.  In addition, we will have an Open floor session from 1-2 pm.

Noon Class Canceled

Due to the snow storm, Noon class will be canceled today.   Please keep checking back to the website or our Facebook page for updates about evening classes.  Stay warm.

Kids Night Out

Hey kids!  Join us for a night of CrossFit Games, pizza & a movie! 
 
Members and non-members are welcome, so bring your friends and your family and leave your parents at home!  
 
The details:  
When: Saturday February 8
Time:   6:30pm – 9:30pm
Who:   Anyone between 4-12 years old
Price:  $50/kid + $25 for each sibling

Let your parents know that there will be 1 adult for every 5 kids in attendance.  We’ll have breakout groups for different ages.  The adults on hand are CrossFit Kids Coaches and Assistant Coaches.

7 am and Noon class canceled today due to the snow storm

Unfortunately due to the inclement weather we are forced to cancel 7am class. As of right now we will be open for 6pm contingent upon weather permitted. Please check back on Facebook throughout the day for any updates. Be safe and hopefully this blizzard will not be as bad as predicted.

Saturday December 21st Class times 10,11 and Noon. Max 15 people per class.

Saturday December 21st will be a Team workout.  Class will be LIMITED TO 15 PEOPLE.  5 teams of 3 people.  We can have 3 mens teams (9 guys) and 2 girls teams (6 girls).  We will have the usual 10 am and 11am class, and if necessary a third class at Noon.  It is MANDATORY to SIGN UP before with your Team.  Once we have 15 people for the 10 am class, it will be CLOSED. If you show up at 10 and you are not on a team/signed up, you will have to wait until 11 am.  So reach out to some people now, make a team and sign up on the website.  There are no exceptions if we are over 15 people.  This is not because we don’t love having as many of you as possible in class at one time.  This is an equipment issue due to the workout.  You can confirm your team of 3 in the Gantry Group page on Facebook and I will put you on the class roster, OR you can log in to the member portal under the MEMBERS SECTION on the website and click the reservations link.  The calendar will pop up and you can click on the class.  Please have all teammates for this.  If you do not have a LOGIN password, I will send you a temporary one.

Gantry Prep December Schedule

We will be offering two Gantry Prep Courses beginning December 3rd.  A morning and an Evening Session.  The schedule will be as follows:

Mornings: Tuesday and Thursday at 7 am, Dec. 3,5,10 and 12.
Evenings: Tuesday and Thursday 7 pm, Dec. 3,5,10 and 12.
Both Sessions will meet on Sunday Dec. 8th at 10 am and on Saturday Dec. 14th at 9 am.

Thanksgiving Week/weekend Schedule

We will have a normal schedule on Monday and Tuesday.
The schedule will be as follows from Wednesday-Sunday:
Wednesday: NO 6 am class.  Class @ 7 am, Noon, Class @5,6,7 pm.  There will be NO 8 pm Class.  Lifting lab from 5-7:00.
Thursday: 8 am Turkey Trot. We will meet at the Gym at 8 am to run over the bridge to Central Park to see the start of the Thanksgiving day Parade on the West side.  There will be no classes.
Friday: 11 am and 12 noon Class only.  No evening classes.  Powerlifting 11-1.
Saturday: 10, 11 am Class. NO Open floor at noon.
Sunday: CLOSED.
