Elizabeth Wipff is a Weightlifting Coach, Trainer, Movement Educator, Mobility Specialist, and former Yoga Teacher known for her keen eye and powerful, creative coaching style. She has been coaching and teaching in NYC and nationally since 1999.
Passion for deep practice and enthusiasm for learning has taken Elizabeth from singing at Carnegie Hall to studying Weightlifting with Olympians. She shares that passion with her athletes.
Athletic endeavors started early: she walked at 7-months, was roller skating at 3, and did her first yoga pose at 4! As a kid, she played soccer and studied dance, yoga, and therapeutic movement modalities.
As a movement professional, she has explored disciplines from Iyengar Yoga to Olympic Weightlifting and has taught for major fitness outlets, including Equinox, Crunch, and 24-hr Fitness. She was on the original coaching staff at CrossFit Virtuosity in Brooklyn, NY, and a 2010 Crossfit Regionals Team member. She is an internationally ranked Masters Olympic Weightlifter and National Masters Champion.
She has presented trainings and workshops at CrossFit gyms and yoga retreat centers nationally.
