Coach Fredy grew up a very active child in Colombia.  He grew up palying soccer, beach soccer, basketball, volleyball, BMX racing, street hockey,  football, baseball, extreme roller blading

In 2012 he  Googled CrossFit and saw Rich Froning and the workouts and their physiques and that got his attention.  He thought what better way to get in shape then exercise, playing sports, lifting weights and eating healthy.

He joined Crossfit Long Island City and after meeting Jackie (1000m row, 50 thrusters, 30 pull ups) he was hooked.  Shortly after he took the CorssFit L1 certificationa and he never looked back.  Fredy is an irreplaceable coach, member and personality in the gym.  Over the years his pursuit of coaching excellence is unparalleled. Observing, reading, watching videos all to learn how to be the best coach.  His energy and enthusiasm in the gym is unmatched, from helping to onboard our new members to cheering on the old dogs as they learn a new skill. Fredy loves that he can help others become better humans! 

Outside of the gym, Fredy loves hiking, paddle boarding, snowboarding, swimming and mountain biking.
